Welcome to Twin Lakes

Twin Lakes Swim and Tennis Community Club is a private swim and tennis facility located at 2841 Briarlake Road in DeKalb County, Atlanta, Georgia.
The club sponsors year-round tennis teams, a swim team and social events. The facilities include 6 tennis courts, covered deck, pool including a low dive and a slide, children's pool featuring a mushroom fountain, children's playground, concession stand, ping pong table, picnic areas, volleyball court, a shade awning, and gas grills for family use at the club. Currently, we have a waiting list for membership.

Excerpt from 6/16 letter sent from Tom Mumford, Twin Lakes President

Regarding thunderstorms, I wanted to make sure everyone understands the procedure that is to be followed by our lifeguards. In short, once a lifeguard hears thunder, the pool must be vacated and no one can get back in the pool until 30 minutes has passed since the last sound of thunder. This rule comes from the American Red Cross Lifeguard Manual, and is based on the National Lightning Safety Institute's recommendation for waiting 30 minutes after the sound of thunder is heard before resuming activities.

Directions to Twin Lakes Swim and Tennis -  2841 Briarlake Road     Atlanta, GA 30345
Traveling I-85 North, take exit at Clairmont Road, go right toward Emory/Decatur, turn left at Briarcliff Road (1st traffic light), continue to Briarlake Road @ 2 miles, go right on Briarlake continuing a little more than 1/2 mile, Twin Lakes entrance is on the right.

Traveling I-85 South, take exit for Shallowford Road, turn left at Shallowford, traveling over the x-way, continue till it dead ends at Briarcliff Road, go right, at the bottom of the hill traffic light turn left onto Briarlake Road, on Briarlake Road you will travel a little more than 1/2 mile, Twin Lakes entrance is on the right just beyond Briarlake Woods Way.

Traveling I-285, exit at LaVista Road, go "inside 285" toward Decatur/Northlake/Emory, (not the Target side of LaVista), continue on LaVista staying to the left at fork, you will pass Kroger, McDonalds, Wendy's. Travel about 1.3  miles from I-285, then take a right onto Briarlake Road at the traffic light. Twin Lakes entrance will be 1/2 mile on the left.
